Latoya Boose – Women challenging the Status Quo

According to a Bureau of Labor Statistics Data study, 27 to 30 per cent of the B2B sales workforce are women. While this number is dubbed to be an underrepresentation of women in sales, in recent times, the number has been soaring high and by 2025, it is expected that women would have a stronger representation. This is because the average rate of achieving quota for women stood at 86 percent versus 78 percent for men.

Meet Latoya Boose, the National Sales Director of Kale Info Solutions, who comes with nearly 15 years of experience in sales. She is leading the mantle ahead for sales at Kale Info Solutions and setting new benchmarks for growth for the organisation. Here is a glimpse of her professional journey.

Initial days in Kale

“I joined Kale in late 2022 and since then I have been figuring out ways to attract our desired target audience towards us. My experience in operations, logistics and sales background is paying off well. While I continue to learn and evolve as a professional and leader, in these few months my experience has been enormous and rewarding, “says Latoya.

All-Woman Workforce

Speaking about working with an all-women team, Latoya says, “Our Kale Info team is an all-woman workforce and that in itself is a significant motivation for me to work. Seeing a woman at the reception desk and seeing women in the operations team followed by being led by a woman is something that we hardly get to see in a regular corporate environment.”

Opportunity to experiment and grow beyond limits

“The most fascinating of my journey in Kale so far has been the opportunity I have been given to experiment with something new every time. When the results are positive, we are celebrated and if it goes the other way, our efforts are still appreciated and we are motivated to perform better, “says Latoya.

Why should one work for Kale?

Latoya believes that every man and woman with a mindset to learn and accomplish something should work in Kale. She says, “There has never been a day when I regretted working here as the amount of experience, I gained in this short term is enormous. Every day, I come with a mindset to accomplish something and that is due to the motivation given by my team.”

Latoya, the Accomplisher

Even though she has been in for a short term in the system, she has achieved significant synergies for the organization and that makes her an accomplisher like every other woman working for Kale. Such professional leaders not only grow but motivate others to accomplish too.
