26 Mar GAL AVIATION IMPLEMENTS KALE’S ACS PLATFORM TO OPTIMIZE CARGO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING AT EL DORADO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Bogotá, Colombia, Wednesday 25th March 2026: GAL Aviation has announced the implementation of Kale Logistics’ (Kale) Airport Cargo Community System (ACS) as the official platform for appointment scheduling and cargo delivery management at El Dorado International Airport. This initiative represents a significant step toward enhancing efficiency, transparency, and coordination within the airport’s cargo logistics ecosystem.
By adopting the ACS platform, GAL Aviation seeks to strengthen collaboration among exporters, freight forwarders, transporters, and other supply chain stakeholders. The system is designed to optimize cargo operations through structured appointment scheduling, thereby improving cargo flow and reducing operational bottlenecks.
The implementation is expected to yield various operational and economic benefits, including reduced waiting times for cargo handling, greater predictability in service delivery, optimized cargo movement between terminals and delivery zones, and enhanced visibility and traceability of shipments. By standardizing information exchange and enabling improved planning capabilities for logistics partners, the platform will contribute to a more efficient and coordinated cargo ecosystem at the airport.
GAL Aviation has invited exporters, shippers, and logistics partners to complete their registration on the ACS platform to ensure a smooth transition that aligns with the operational standards established by the airport and the industry.
Commenting on this initiative, Juan Pablo Luchau, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the airline GAL, stated, “With the implementation of the ACS platform, we reinforce our commitment to modernization and greater efficiency within Colombia’s air cargo ecosystem. This initiative will help improve coordination throughout the logistics chain while strengthening the sector’s overall performance and competitiveness. We have already begun pilot testing at Bogotá’s El Dorado Airport, where a tool of this technological caliber is indispensable given the complexity of the station.”
He further added, “Our commercial and operational teams remain fully committed to supporting our partners during the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to the new system.”
For his part, Amar More, President and CEO of Kale Info Solutions, remarked, “Today, airports require smarter digital ecosystems to manage growing cargo volumes and complex interactions among multiple stakeholders. We are proud to support GAL Aviation’s and Bogotá’s logistics ecosystem with a solution that enhances coordination, increases cargo visibility, and facilitates more efficient cargo flows throughout the airport supply chain.”
