As someone who has been a part of the air freight industry in Atlanta for more than 20 years, I am honored to be part of the team shaping this innovative initiative. The ability to communicate electronically with our stakeholders like Trucking companies and Cargo Terminal Operators to obtain shipment statuses online is definitely going to help us in planning our operations better and deliver better services to our customers.
We are excited by the possibilities that lie in store for us with Atlanta Airport’s Cargo Community System, especially the reduction in truck dwell time. The scope of availability of accurate and complete information before the truck arrival has been leading to clarity, cooperation, and understanding amongst the stakeholders. This initiative demonstrates the airport’s commitment to be the bell-weather in creating the new generation of digital infrastructure at the airport. It is also the keystone for facilitating the digital trade corridor between Atlanta and Schiphol airport.
GALAXY has been our first choice as it is designed and built exclusively for air cargo handlers and their business needs. It has helped us streamline operations, check revenue leakages, brought greater business visibility and helped us take informed decisions with the help of Business Intelligence tool. GALAXY has simplified the handling process by integrating warehouse operations, back-office documentation and billing to bring about operational throughput without increasing costs. HHT integration, online payments, e-Freight compliance and short implementation cycle of the solution worked in our favour. We look forward to strengthening this partnership with Kale Logistics Solutions.
Moving from our legacy system to a web-based solution like GMAX, we realised multiple benefits like compliance with industry regulations; enhanced customer satisfaction with regular consignment status update; data integrity facilitated by single point of data entry and a wide range of MIS reports that support decision-making. Post implementation of the GMAX there has been a complete transformation in the way cargo is processed at Mumbai airport. 100% transactions are being carried out through web portal enabling web & mobile based track and trace with real-time status updates. Customs amended messages are getting updated in the system on time.
With a web-based Airport Cargo Management Solution from Kale Logistics Solutions, we were finally able to find a highly scalable and flexible solution that meets the needs of our growing business. The systems not just streamlined our business processes, but also enhanced efficiency and productivity. As a fast-growing company, this helped us to make informed business decisions pertaining to our rapid expansion and development. Our association with Kale has been a strategic partnership for us, one which will continue to complement our long term goals of modernization and expansion.
CORVI incorporates industry best practices and it has successfully streamlined all our processes. It has cut down on our operational and processing time significantly. There has been an overall reduction in costs by 21% due to increase in supply chain visibility, reduced paperwork and prevention of revenue leakage. Our years of association with Kale Logistics team has been very good with the team always willing to understand and support our changing requirements.
We were happy to experience quick response from Kale team on conducting the ‘Proof of Concept’. Thereafter GALAXY implementation happened very quickly in less than three months. The system has met most of our requirements and we plan to roll it out at rest of the Airports where we operate.
We are delighted to cross such a significant mark in such a short time. With the saving potential of 500 Baht per AWB for forwarders in addition to savings in time and efforts, we are confident that TIFFA EDI’s ezyCompliance service will contribute in lowering the logistics transaction costs in Thailand and increasing its EXIM competitiveness. This platform will further facilitate trade in addition to Thailand’s National Single Window for electronic transactions which is emerging as a key requirement for global trade.
Looking at Kale’s domain experience and years of service to Air Transport segment, we have embarked on this new business relationship with them. We are confident that this will prove to be a strategic partnership for us, one which will complement our long-term goals of modernisation and expansion.
We have taken another important step towards our goal of providing through UPLIFT a platform of choice for the Indian Cargo Community. Since the joining of our 50th customer-Jet Airfreight-we have passed the initial 50 customers milestone for the UPLIFT platform in a short span of six months since its launch. UPLIFT is the only community system which complies with all the evolving local and international industry requirements. For all industry players irrespective of their size, it provides complete shipment visibility and at a minimal transaction-based subscription cost. We are confident that UPLIFT will continue to experience a growing demand from Indian cargo community stakeholders and will also set international benchmarks for a complex airfreight business environment.
We found CORVI to be ideally suited and Kale team to be supportive. We went live on the system in a month’s time with active management and team involvement at Mash Logistics. We are using most of the system features which has helped us streamline our sales and operations.
