The airport faced major challenges in terms of utilising a legacy system, which was almost a decade old and was more focused on specific processes. Due to this, delays in operations were enormous, and redundancies in other processes increased significantly. Truck waiting time increased to more than 4 hours, and the coordination time between stakeholders for each document was nearly 1-2 hours.
